The ICT Authority is recruiting 400 ICT graduate trainees for the Presidential Digital Talent Programme (PDTP) as part of the government's commitment to leverage ICT to enhance citizen service delivery.  This is the second intake after a directive was given by HE the President of Kenya, Uhuru Kenyatta on 10th February 2015, to increase the intake of trainees from the current 100 recruited in its inaugural programme to 400 annually beginning 2016.

Last year, the programme saw 100 interns go through training and placement in various private and public sector organizations. They are awaiting graduation with some having already got employment.

PDTP is a private sector and government collaborative initiative that aims to train recent ICT graduates with a view to improving ICT management in government as a means of enhancing service delivery to mwananchi.
PDTP targets ICT graduates who must be Kenyan citizens, and have graduated from recognized ICT programmes in the last two years and attained First or Upper Second Class Honours (or the equivalent).
