eMobilis in partnership with Google has organized fully sponsored 3 Hour capacity development programs on Digital Skills.
The training has been tailored to empower a million young Africans with introductory level digital skills and tools to help youth build an online presence, create content, understand web design and user experience, social media and digital advertising.
We believe that if young people have the right skills, they can build businesses, create jobs and boost economic growth across the continent.
This program is a Google initiative whose aim is to deliver training to one million youth across Africa as part of the Digital Skills for Africa initiative.

The ICT Authority is recruiting 400 ICT graduate trainees for the Presidential Digital Talent Programme (PDTP) as part of the government's commitment to leverage ICT to enhance citizen service delivery. This is the second intake after a directive was given by HE the President of Kenya, Uhuru Kenyatta on 10th February 2015, to increase the intake of trainees from the current 100 recruited in its inaugural programme to 400 annually beginning 2016.
Last year, the programme saw 100 interns go through training and placement in various private and public sector organizations. They are awaiting graduation with some having already got employment.
PDTP is a private sector and government collaborative initiative that aims to train recent ICT graduates with a view to improving ICT management in government as a means of enhancing service delivery to mwananchi.
PDTP targets ICT graduates who must be Kenyan citizens, and have graduated from recognized ICT programmes in the last two years and attained First or Upper Second Class Honours (or the equivalent).
The Information Communication Technology Association of Kenya (ICTAK) is the principle association for Information & Communications Technology (ICT) professionals and industry players in Kenya. ICTAK is the public voice of the ICT profession and the guardian of professional ethics and standards in the ICT industry, with a commitment to the wider community to ensure the beneficial use of ICT.
The ICT Value Awards Gala Dinner was held on Tuesday, 8th December 2015 at the Intercontinental Hotel, Nairobi from 6.30pm with nominations opened on 1st September 2015 and closed on 15th November 2015. The ICT Association celebrated the organizations and persons who were overwhelmingly nominated for their inspiration and excellence under the various categories. This was the 3rd such awards ceremony.
eMobilis was nominated in two categories namely: The Digital Inclusion Excellence Award and Best use of ICT in Education Award.
