Annual Tech Talk 2024 – Inspiring the Future of Tech Innovation

On April 3, 2024, eMobilis hosted its Annual Tech Talk at the Louise Leakey Auditorium, National Museums of Kenya, bringing together 242 students, industry leaders, and tech enthusiasts to discuss the latest trends and career opportunities in ICT. The event provided a platform for students to connect directly with thought leaders and potential mentors, featuring speakers from top organizations like Zynamis, IBM, CloudFactory, The African Talent Company and UNDP. Topics covered included ICT industry trends, career advice for developers, and insights into building and scaling startups in the current tech landscape.

The event highlighted the importance of innovation, collaboration, and entrepreneurship, with speakers such as James Muindi from Zynamis encouraging students to pursue entrepreneurial dreams, and Kim Wanjiru from CloudFactory stressing the value of collaboration. The day was filled with lively entertainment, real-time social media engagement, and an interactive networking session.
