Celebrating Web Development Cohort 3 Graduation

On July 27, 2024, eMobilis hosted the third cohort of the Web Development Program at Louise Leakey Auditorium at the National Museums of Kenya. This was a scholarship initiative supported by the Mastercard Foundation. This milestone reflects eMobilis' commitment to empowering the next generation of tech leaders
The two-month bootcamp, held from October to December 2023, saw 254 students complete their training in web development. Of these, 144 graduates attended the physical ceremony, while others joined remotely, thanks to the livestream coverage.
The event featured notable speakers who shared insights into the tech industry such as:
- Reinhard Ranji, founder of Piposoft, encouraged graduates to chase their dreams and bridge the talent gap.
- Amos Guni, a global recruiter from Nethermind, spoke on the international opportunities awaiting talented developers.
- Miriam Mildred, a software developer and mentor, inspired graduates to pursue excellence in their tech journeys.
Interactive presentations showcased innovative web applications developed during the program, while engaging entertainment and a lively MC added to the celebratory atmosphere.
The Web Development Program continues to provide a solid foundation for budding developers. This graduation event not only celebrated the students' hard work and dedication but also set the stage for future tech leaders to shine.
We urge all 3rd and 4th-year students to seize the opportunity to join our transformative 5th Cohort in 2025 and elevate your Web Development skills.
